This is a list of PPGBA’s Active members who are available for assignment. The purpose of this list is for consumers to locate a photographer in their area and for members to refer work to fellow photographer members.

The list is sorted by city, then in random order, as no preference for any member is implied. PPGBA does not recommend or warranty the work of any member.

Members generally are available for assignments throughout the Bay Area, regardless of their location. Members are not listed in any preferential order other than alphabetical by city of location.

Why should someone obtain the services of a PPGBA member?

Master of Photography (M.Photog.) Awarded for superior photographic skills—demonstrated through the PPA International Photographic Competition, advanced education and service to the industry.

Photographic Craftsman (Cr.Photog.) Awarded for service as an orator, author or mentor. This degree shows that you have gone beyond the creation of images and dedicated your time to move the industry forward and encourage education.

Master Artist (M.Artist) Awarded for superior photographic skills—demonstrated through the Artist Exhibition category of the PPA International Photographic Competition (with images evaluated for computer-applied techniques and proficiency), advanced education and service to the industry.

Master Electronic Imaging Degree (MEI) Awarded for superior photographic skills—demonstrated through the Electronic Imaging and Video categories of the PPA International Photographic Competition (with images evaluated for computer-applied and video techniques and proficiency), advanced education and service to the industry. This degree is no longer awarded.

Honorary Master of Photography (Hon.M.Photog.) –. Awarded for exceptional service to the Professional Photographers of America or to the photographic profession.

CPP Certified Professional Photographer: The certification program assures the general public that a Certified Professional Photographer, is a quality professional. It’s the assurance of a level of quality because certification is a credential consumers and businesses understand. For the qualifying photographer, it provides CPPs with a tool for telling the world—and potential clients—why they should call a CPP rather than the competitor down the street.
